An old retired samurai is sweeping his house when he is disturbed by a Japanese soldier who challenges him to a duel. The old man manages to knock out the young soldier, who stumbles upon a pile of inert bodies that have suffered the same fate. The old samurai thinks it's finally over, but suddenly another soldier appears for another confrontation that repeats itself once more....
